Orphan or semi-orphan status, originating from economically disadvantaged families.
    Demonstrated perseverance for personal improvement.

Admission involves a meticulous evaluation of each girl's socio-economic and educational background. Based on their aptitude and capabilities, the girls are enrolled in diverse courses such as engineering, medicine, commerce, and vocational programs. They are granted free accommodation, meals, college fees, bus passes, hostel expenses, stationery, and books. For deserving students, coaching for competitive exams like EAMCET is also provided. The primary objective of the project is to support women in crisis situations by providing counseling, temporary shelter, and imparting livelihood skills. This empowers them emotionally and economically, enabling them to face life with renewed hope. The Dr. Lakshmi Ganga Swayam Sakthi Project involved various short and long-term training initiatives, with approximately 90 women benefiting from free tailoring training.

In an effort to give the program a structured and sustained presence with a direct connection to the customer base, an extension of the Dr. Lakshmi Ganga Swayam Sakthi project led to the establishment of Swayam Sidha Units in Bundlaguda near Nagole.
