The Organization is completed successfully its service in the field by focusing on different aspects of welfare and development the organization made an accepted way. The organization registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 as a non-profit making and non-political organization in nature. There is commitment, dedication and enthusiasm among and need for help. SHANTI-MAITREE has organized different programmers with the active participation of the local community by giving more focus on tribal areas and people at the needy. The Organization is having a well defined Bye-law and memorandum of association with the General Body as well as Governing Body for strengthening its function more transparent and functional. Since its inception, the Organization has been successfully implementing different activities with a mission “To improve the quality of life through intervention pertaining to health and livelihood especially emphasizing women empowerment and Child Care in the community for their sustainable development with new socio-economic order in which the poor, as well as women, live at per with others following values of sustainable development, global common hood and sympathy towards the weaker section of the society”. Is dedicated its commitment form grass-root level for empowerment and emancipation of Dalits, Adivasi & other downtrodden people to bring them into the main stream of development through a process of its philosophy, ideology and appropriate methods of works.
