Impact
RAHAT has gained experience in promoting livelihoods through various methodologies and has been successful in standardizing interventions through a sub-sectoral approach, working with over 100 Self Help Groups comprising poor households in Kishanganj district.
Vision and Mission
RAHAT envisions a society in which poor and disadvantaged people are developed and self-reliant, with improved quality of lives, particularly for women and adolescents in Bihar. Its mission is to establish a people-initiated development process and ensure socio-economic development through people's participation, institution building, human rights, gender equity, and poverty alleviation.
