To educate and empower the most neglected and deprived children of society: the poor, the downtrodden, the orphaned and the differently-abled. With P Read moreOVERTY and ILLITERACY being the primary cause of INEQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITIES we want to mobilize a movement with a ‘UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS’ that considers ALL OF US as BROTHERS and SISTERS and work towards especially uplifting the neediest. Therefore, we shall commit ourselves to providing shelter, clothing, food and education to the deprived children of society. All others like marginalized women, and the old and the sick are also to be given appropriate care, and treated with human dignity. To establish and maintain institutions wherein we shall offer curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes to the most deprived children of society besides offering them training in art, music, dance and drama for their holistic human development. That the marginalized women are given opportunities to train and sustain their families through self-help group schemes and programmes; that the old and the sick are treated with human dignity by providing food, shelter, clothing and medical care for them.

Maanidam Poonga is focus on education and empowerment of marginalized communities.

The Urban Vision has implemented projects in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai, and partnered with government agencies and international organizations.
