About
Action in Rural Technology and Service (ARTS) has registered as a society under the societies Act1860 in May 1993. It has been registered under the M Read moreinistry of Home Affairs, Government of India in 1998 and 2016 for obtaining funds from foreign Contribution. ARTS has registered with the Department of Income Tax for the grants received under 12A & 80G. Action in Rural Technology and Service (ARTS) is working towards tribal empowerment to improve livelihoods through Natural Resource Development in Kurupam, G.L puram and Jiyyamvalasa Mandals of Vizianagaram Districts and Burja, Seethampet, Veeraghatam, and Palakonda mandals in Srikakulam District and also promoting 28 tribal youth working in 414 tribal habitations in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts with the support of Aid et Action, NABARD, TATA Community Development Trust, Childline India Foundation, IWMP – SLNA, VARA Kammun – Sweden, Action Aid India, WASSAN, DKA-Austria, SSA, SERP-IKP-DRDA, and UNICEF. ARTS has received National Youth Award for the year 2010 – 11 from the Government of India and Rastriya SwyamSidhi Sannman Award for the year 2015 from the JSPL Foundation – New Delhi.
