Poverty & Targeting
StateARAVALI assists partner organizations in determining the poorest and most vulnerable processes as well as the geographic reach of their services. Tools and procedures have been created and tested by ARAVALI for this purpose. Organizational employees are trained to use these tools and process sets by ARAVALI. To identify impoverished and vulnerable households, the procedure will be further led and facilitated. To help partner organizations benefit from each other's experiences, ARAVALI also hosts review and peer learning workshops on the targeting process. ARAVALI offers organizations hand-holding support.
The baseline evaluation of the families comes after the targeting process. The identified families are engaged in extensive engagement through the use of an Instrument of Engagement. The identification of the underlying causes of poverty and the planning and provision of livelihood support and services come after the baseline assessment procedure.
