Programs

  • Participatory Groundwater management (PGWM)

Conserving and using groundwater, requires a mix of good science, suitable technology, and a strong social commitment.
A PGWM is a method of managing groundwater and natural resources that involves the local community in resource planning and management. This approach ensures that groundwater resources are managed sustainably and equitably.

  • Training and Capacity Building

Establishes communities across the nation that are knowledgeable about groundwater. ACT has used a transdisciplinary strategy to achieve the goal of groundwater management with extensive engagement, and as an intervention, it is improving the capacity of all players in privatization.
provides students with a range of courses and classes with training and capacity-building programs at different levels.
To improve the techno-social-managerial capacity of different stakeholders (such as individuals, CBOs, GOs, students, etc.) in the field of water resource management, ACT founded the Knowledge Management Unit (KMU).
