Programs

  • Coastal and River Banks Clean Up

Under the guidance of the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC), a global program of TOC, the IMF has been organizing and carrying out beach and river bank cleanups throughout India on both the East and West coastlines. Every year on the third Saturday in September, volunteers from approximately 100 nations conduct beach clean-ups and gather trash from riverbanks.

  • Ocean Savers of India (OSI)

The OSI is working to foster a love and respect for our water bodies by hosting events such as interactive quiz competitions focused on ecology and the environment and coastal clean-ups in an effort to stop the degradation of our oceans and other water systems. In order to raise awareness among the kids, the OSI also visits a number of schools in and around Pune to do presentations and screen videos.
