"Identity" is what "Pehchaan" signifies. Pehchaan Through education, the Street School seeks to give impoverished children a sense of identity, or Pe Read morehchaan. providing impoverished children with an education and sufficient resources to enable them to become self-sufficient in their finances. We have been highlighting the importance of education as a basic right that every kid should have access to for more than eight years, but our goals transcend beyond education. We hope to remove this barrier with pehchaan, the street school, as the institutionalization and commercialization of education throughout our nation have severely limited the ability of the impoverished to access means of academic and vocational study.
Action
The organization runs street schools in different parts of Delhi NCR, where volunteers teach children basic literacy, numeracy, and life skills, combining storytelling, games, and other interactive methods to make learning engaging.

Pehchaan The Street School has grown from its humble beginnings with five volunteers and ten children to now serving over 1500 children across 10+ centers in Delhi NCR, supported by more than 500 active volunteers.

Shikshaantar
The primary aim of Shikshaantar is to facilitate barrier-free learning. These kids are more vulnerable to child marriage, exploitation, and decreased economic potential when they are not in school. You may help the kids discover their potential and open doors for them by working together with us.
The goal of Shikshaantar is to assist any child in the city who requires assistance with their schooling or with finding educational resources. We will make every effort to assist these kids in any manner that we are able.
