Jagruti School for Blind Girls

The National Federation of the Blind in Maharashtra (NFBM) founded the "NFBM Jagriti School for Blind Girls" on January 4, 1989, to support blind girls. The school currently hosts Read more110 blind girls, with 99% coming from rural areas. It provides free education, accommodation, and meals to deserving students. The school offers a broad curriculum that includes regular academic lessons, IT skills, vocational training, crafts, sports, cultural activities, and communication skills. Additionally, the school focuses on psychological counselling, foreign language learning, home science, orientation and mobility training, and music education.
