THE LIGHTHOUSE INITIATIVE
The Lighthouse Initiative (LHI), launched by the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, is a transformative program aimed at strengthening the sanitation ecosystem in India. Implemented through a public-private partnership model, it will initially pilot in 75 gram panchayats across 15 states. LHI is grounded in the principles of Inclusive Sanitation and Leaving No One Behind, ensuring access to safe and sustainable sanitation for all, especially marginalized communities. By fostering collaboration and innovation, the initiative seeks to create scalable solutions, promoting hygiene, dignity, and health in rural India.

PLASTIC WASTE MANAGEMENT
The Plastic Waste Management (PWM) initiative by ISC and Godrej, under the PPP model, aims to transform six identified cities in Maharashtra into Plastic Circular Cities. This aligns with the government's mandate for sustainable waste management solutions. The program focuses on effective plastic waste collection, segregation, recycling, and repurposing to create a circular economy. Three strategic partners will collaborate with ISC and Godrej to implement innovative PWM solutions, ensuring environmental sustainability and economic benefits. This initiative emphasizes reducing plastic pollution, fostering green practices, and building a sustainable future for Maharashtra.
