Impact
The number of children impacted by Vikramshila in the last 30 years is 25 million. Over the last year (2025-2026), alone, our programmes directly reached approximately 1.15 lakh children and community members through sustained field engagement. In addition, our systems-strengthening and government partnership work is estimated to have benefitted services reaching approximately 1.4 crore stakeholders across multiple states. Direct beneficiary estimates cover children and communities who received sustained field engagement — classroom support, home visits, care giver engagement, and similar interventions. Indirect beneficiary estimates are based on statewide adoption of our curriculum and programme resources, and the number of teachers and frontline workers trained through cascade models.
