In rural India, children face significant barriers to accessing quality literature, hindering their reading and critical thinking skills. Many schools Read more lack libraries, limiting exposure to diverse stories and language development. Our initiative focuses on government school children aged 4 to 15, aiming to foster a reading culture and enhance language proficiency. Through shared listening circles, independent reading, and storytelling activities, we connect children with literature that resonates with their experiences. We establish libraries in schools, conduct engaging read-aloud sessions, and train teachers to sustain these resources independently. The enthusiastic response from children highlights their growing love for reading and newfound confidence. Despite challenges posed by the pandemic, our reading rooms have provided continuous educational support, nurturing essential reading habits and empowering children to navigate their lives more effectively. This initiative not only revives the tradition of storytelling but also adapts it to modern contexts, ensuring its relevance in today's digital age.

The Library Program aims to enhance language skills and foster a love for reading among children, especially in rural areas. By setting up libraries in schools and communities, the program provides easy access to storybooks. Engaging activities like read-aloud sessions, book talks, and storytelling help children connect stories with their own experiences, building their confidence.
