The BFA library program, operating within six urban village schools in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, brings vibrant learning spaces to life. Each library, set up in a school-provided room, features cheerful decor, essential furniture, colorful durries, whiteboards, green boards, and soft boards. The walls are adorned with charts, and shelves are stocked with beautifully illustrated storybooks and art materials. A full-time librarian oversees each library, fostering a love for reading by leading engaging story sessions and other activities. Schools schedule dedicated library periods for each class, during which students read and participate in various enriching programs, including remedial classes for students needing extra support.

Wall Hung Libraries
In 2021, BFA launched a fundraising drive to install Wall Hung Libraries (WHL) in village schools lacking dedicated library spaces. Each WHL contains 100 illustrated storybooks in English, Hindi, and regional languages, aimed at inspiring the joy of reading among students. These libraries have helped foster learning, creativity, and imagination by offering children access to books beyond their course materials. By the end of 2023, BFA had successfully set up over 375 WHLs in 24 states. For 2024-25, the organization aims to expand this initiative to 400 schools across urban and rural India.
