    Sundarbans

The Sundarbans resilience programme aims to safeguard and sustain the vital ecosystem of the Sundarbans by addressing critical challenges like tropical cyclones, flooding, and salinity. Focused on South 24 Parganas district, the initiative promotes surface and groundwater management, mangrove conservation, and sustainable livelihoods through integrated natural resource management. In partnership with CSOs, research institutes, government bodies, and international agencies, the programme seeks to enhance climate resilience and support local communities. This collaborative effort combines technical solutions and environmental stewardship to protect the Sundarbans for future generations.

  • Ecology and Natural Resource Education

This program aims to address the pressing issue of climate change by engaging children in practical, eco-friendly activities that emphasize sustainable, low-cost technologies. Through hands-on experiences, students will learn essential skills like observation, experimentation, documentation, and data management. The program fosters environmental awareness by involving youth in tackling socio-ecological problems and encouraging them to embrace biodiversity conservation. By instilling habits of responsible environmental stewardship, it empowers children from diverse backgrounds—urban and rural alike—to contribute towards restoring the balance of nature and building resilient, eco-conscious communities.
