  • Since

    2016

Dribble Academy Foundation (DAF) was established in 2016 by Pradyot Voleti, a skilled basketball coach and clinical psychologist, in the village of Ge Read morejha, Noida. Starting with just four children, two bamboo poles, and a makeshift hoop, Pradyot’s vision was to introduce high-quality basketball training to underserved communities in India. With experience from training under prominent coaches at Elev8 Sports Institute in Florida, Pradyot brought international-level expertise back home, focusing on accessible skill development. In less than four years, DAF expanded across three states, serving 2,500 children, with over half being girls. The foundation has fostered talent that has gone on to represent at District, State, and National levels, with two students participating in the Jr. NBA championships in Orlando, USA. DAF's mission has empowered numerous students, granting over ten full scholarships to top Indian sports schools and colleges.

Programs

  • Player Program

The program transforms rural and semi-urban India by identifying and nurturing talented players. Through tailored fitness sessions, nutrition drives, and personalized student-coach engagements, DAF ensures the emotional and physical well-being of its athletes. This emphasizes holistic development, with trained coaches providing regular support. DAF also facilitates higher education opportunities, helping students secure sports scholarships to prominent schools and universities. Many of its players, who were first-generation college-goers, have achieved success at national and international levels, excelling both academically and athletically.

  • Coaches Program

The program regularly hosts interactive sessions with renowned international basketball coaches to elevate the skills and knowledge of Indian basketball coaches. These sessions provide a platform for coaches to engage with experts on various topics, including effective drills, player engagement, and community mobilization. In addition, DAF collaborates with prominent basketball influencers in India through social media to share thought leadership articles and insights. These efforts aim to promote best practices and foster the development of basketball, raising its quality and impact across the country.
