F Read moreocusing on multi-layered packaging (MLP) — the most widely used packaging in FMCG products — Safai Bank offers an effective system to divert millions of waste items from landfills and littering. By mimicking the structure of a traditional bank, participants become "account holders," depositing clean wrapper waste at branches located in schools, residential areas, and workplaces. Branch coordinators ensure efficient collection, while the waste is responsibly processed in compliance with Waste Management Rules 2016. As a Section 8 non-profit, Safai Bank of India actively promotes sustainability by empowering communities to adopt eco-friendly practices, making sustainable waste management accessible and impactful for all stakeholders.
