Founded in 2004 by All England Open Badminton Champion Pullela Gopichand, the Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy (PGBA) is recognized by the Ministry Read more of Sports, SAI, and BAI. The academy has trained top players like P.V. Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, and Srikanth Kidambi. It has hosted major events such as the India Open Grand Prix 2009 and the BWF World Championship 2009. With international-standard facilities, the academy has also served as a practice venue for global badminton legends like Lee Chong Wei, Lin Dan, and Carolina Marin.
