The organisation engaged local stakeholders, including village panchayats, parents, and government officers, to raise awareness about the importance of sanitation for children. Its efforts have led to the construction of toilets in primary schools, benefiting over 3,000 students and fostering community involvement in promoting hygiene and well-being.

Zerodha Broking Limited, through its Zerodha Cares initiative, supports education and holistic development for underprivileged students. It sponsors the education of 15 tribal students in Karnataka, covering academic tutoring, skill training, study materials, food, lodging, healthcare, and more, aiming to inspire continued learning and future empowerment. Additionally, it has adopted children from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Bihar in partnership with an NGO, ensuring their education and overall growth until they are prepared to become independent.

Zerodha Broking Limited, through its Zerodha Cares initiative, actively supports healthcare and animal welfare programmes. It funds a Mobile Medicare Unit (MMU) in partnership with an NGO to provide essential healthcare services to marginalised elderly individuals, addressing affordability and accessibility issues. Each unit facilitates 28,000–30,000 treatments annually for 2,000–3,000 patients. In animal welfare, it supports two ambulances in Bangalore that operate year-round, assisting 45–50 injured, sick, or abandoned animals daily. Additionally, it organises medical camps offering health check-ups, eye screenings, and blood sugar tests, benefiting over 450 attendees per camp with diagnostic and treatment services.

Zerodha Broking Limited, through its Zerodha Cares initiative, promotes environmental sustainability through tree plantation, cleanliness drives, and park development. It collaborates with NGOs to plant 10,000 trees and create two artificial islands at Somanahalli Lake, along with planting 1,000 trees at Cubbon Park. Its unique plantation drives focus on long-term benefits by adopting villages, distributing fruit and medicinal trees like drumstick and lemon to support health and secondary income for families. Zerodha Cares also conducts cleanathons in areas like JP Nagar and Jayanagar, involving employees, NGOs, and local authorities to clean and beautify spaces. It has transformed a dumpsite into a children’s park, creating a cleaner and more usable environment.

Zerodha Broking Limited, through its Zerodha Cares initiative, contributed significantly to COVID-19 relief efforts by allocating ₹25 crores across multiple areas. It supported the PM CARES fund, distributed 15,000 meals daily to those in need in Bengaluru, and aided BMC Hospital, a COVID-19 facility in Bangalore. Additionally, it contributed to the COVID ACT fund established by the VC community and initiated a pilot project on Universal Basic Income to assist those affected by the pandemic. These efforts reflect its commitment to addressing the societal and economic challenges posed by the crisis.
