      Description

      NCC Limited engages in various educational initiatives. It has donated four vehicles to Akshaya Patra, which supports mid-day meal services for government school children across multiple states in India. In Hyderabad, it offers hands-on Robotics training for children from government schools. It also provides online education for secondary grade dropouts and unschooled students through AAS Schools in Nagpur. In Antervedipalem, East Godavari, it facilitates home tuition in the evenings for schoolchildren. Additionally, it supports 60 Ekal Schools in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, which are run by Friends of the Tribal Society to uplift tribal families. The organisation also undertakes the construction and renovation of schools in the region.

      Description

      NCC Limited supports various healthcare initiatives. It has collaborated with Sushena Health Foundation to launch the Dhaatri Mother’s Milk Bank, aimed at reducing infant mortality through community outreach. In Antervedipalem village, the organisation has partnered with the Lions Club and Grace Foundation to provide cancer screenings and medical tests. It has also donated to the LV Prasad Eye Institute, a Hyderabad-based non-profit, to support advanced eye research. The organisation has provided tricycles to individuals with physical disabilities and offered disaster relief during floods and cyclones by supplying medical aid, drinking water, and food. Additionally, it has established trauma care centres along highways.

    • Rural Development and Housing Project

      Description

      NCC Limited has undertaken rural development and housing projects in Antervedipalem, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. In 2008, it built 168 one-bedroom houses of 410 square feet each for economically weaker sections. In 2014, it constructed 36 houses, each measuring 780 square feet, featuring two bedrooms, a hall, kitchen, and a toilet. Additionally, in 2015, it installed permanent toilets, one for each of the 365 homes. These efforts were aimed at improving living conditions for the local community.
