      Description

      * ‘700 Se 7 Kadam’ Sanitation Drive - joined the Government Swachh Bharat Mission in 2014 and helped make 59 villages Open Defecation Free by constructing nearly 4,000 household toilets.
      * Health Camps - Dabur regularly organizes general and specialized Ayurvedic health camps nationwide to provide quality healthcare to vulnerable communities.
      * VridhCare - Dabur India Limited has been supporting old age homes run by VridhCare Quality of Life Foundation in Delhi
      * Saksham – Rehabilitation of Head Injury Patients - Dabur is supporting a charitable physiotherapy and neuro-rehabilitation centre in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, providing support to victims of traumatic brain and spine injuries.

    • Ensuring Environment Sustainability

      Description

      * Herbal Kingdom - This community-based initiative engages farmers, tribal groups, and forest-dependent communities across India in conserving natural resources within diverse ecosystems. It also promotes the sustainable cultivation of rare medicinal herbs, ensuring both environmental preservation and livelihood support.

      * Desert Bloom - This program focuses on water conservation and rainwater harvesting through measures like constructing check dams, roof-water harvesting, desilting and renovating traditional water bodies and ponds, deepening wells, recharging tube wells, watershed development, and extensive afforestation efforts.

      * Harnessing the Sun - Dabur has installed solar streetlights and other solar-powered solutions in villages. Working in collaboration with local communities and village panchayats, the company has erected solar streetlights with partial financial contributions from these stakeholders, fostering sustainable energy practices.

      * Tree Warriors - Dabur has launched several community-driven tree planting initiatives across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan. These plantations take place in shared spaces such as schools, village parks, roadsides, and even private homes, contributing to a healthier, greener environment.

      * Supporting Plastic Waste Management - The flagship initiative, ‘My 10 Kg Plastic,’ launched in partnership with the Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA), aims to raise community awareness about waste segregation at the source. This mega initiative encourages active participation in managing plastic waste effectively and responsibly.

      * Adarsh Pathshala - Dabur is dedicated to enhancing the learning environment in rural government schools by transforming them into Model Schools. These schools feature modern infrastructure and a comfortable setting designed to foster improved learning experiences for children.
      * Computer Education - Dabur, in collaboration with the NIIT Foundation, has established Computer Literacy Centres in rural India to equip youth with essential skills, enhancing their employability and promoting inclusive economic growth.
      * Gyan Arjan Kendra - In line with our commitment to advancing education, especially for underprivileged communities, Dabur has set up 16 Remedial Education Centres across five states.

      Description

      * Nari Shakti Kendra - Dabur is committed to empowering young women and men in rural areas by providing them with the skills and support needed to enhance their employability and participation in economic activities.
      * Livelihood Support - In Assam, the company has launched a special initiative to support small and landless members of women Self-Help Groups (SHGs). This program focuses on establishing profitable ventures such as duck farming, pig rearing, and goat rearing. Dabut engages SHG members and provides them with scientific training to build their capacity and ensures sustainable livelihoods.
      * Beekeeping Training - This comprehensive beekeeping training program equips participants with knowledge of best practices in hive management and honey production. The program also emphasizes the importance of bee health and ethical beekeeping methods, fostering sustainable and responsible honey production.

      Description

      * Swasth Ghar (SwaG) – Swasthya Aur Suraksha - Dabur has introduced an integrated development program built on four key pillars: Self-Defense, Nutrition, Empowerment, and Health (SNEH). This initiative aims to enhance the overall health and well-being of vulnerable and underprivileged communities.
      * Project Poshan - Project Poshan focuses on raising awareness and fostering positive attitudes toward consuming healthy, nutritious meals. The initiative promotes safe and hygienic living practices while providing essential nutritional supplements to marginalized sections of society.
      * Madaari Mitr - This program focused on Madaari community forms women’s groups to raise awareness about maternal and child health. It ensures access to basic education and nutrition for children within their communities. Dabur supports non-formal education centers and conducts awareness camps to share information about balanced diets and proper nutrition. Additionally, the program provides nutritious food products to children to promote their growth and well-being.
