The Foundation demonstrates cost-effective scientific techniques, such as pheromone traps, neem oil, and multi-cropping, while introducing pest-resistant, high-yield crop varieties that require less irrigation and improve soil health.

Gujarat’s coastal villages face challenges due to high salinity levels, making land infertile and clean drinking water scarce. Erratic rainfall and excessive groundwater extraction have accelerated salinity ingression, leading to health issues and forced migration for farmers. To support marginalized farmers, TKF promotes well recharge structures with technical assistance and subsidies, along with micro-irrigation systems like drip irrigation. Farm ponds have also been constructed to store rainwater for agricultural activities, ensuring sustainable water use.
