    The Centre conducts numerous academic programmes across Baroda and India, including the annual Balvant Parekh Memorial Lecture, workshops, seminars on general semantics, symposia, and certificate courses in collaboration with educational institutions. Renamed in 2013, the lecture honours Balvantbhai’s legacy. The Centre publishes an Annual Report, books on general semantics, and the biannual journal Anekaant: A Journal of Polysemic Thought, fostering scholarly discourse in allied fields.

    It regularly organizes the Balvant Parekh Distinguished Lectures, featuring notable speakers from various academic fields. For example, Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, a University Professor in the Humanities at Columbia University, discussed "Teaching Literature Today" in 2011. In 2012, Arjun Appadurai, Goddard Professor of Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University, spoke on "Disciplining India’s Diversity." Additionally, Nicholas D.
