Asha Gram, the “Village of Hope,” provides a loving and secure home for over a hundred intellectually disabled children in Ekambe, rural Satara. Spanning 75 acres, it has received generous infrastructure support over the years. Established by the Government in 1986, its conditions deteriorated until Param Prasad Charitable Society took over in 2000, transforming it into Asha Bhavan, a dedicated home for intellectually disabled orphaned children.

The Society manages several educational institutions, including Mary Matha School in Mhaswad and Dahiwadi, St. Thomas School in Solapur, Deva Matha School in Sadapur, St. Joseph’s School in Barsi, and St. Xavier High School in Panchgani. Also, an Integrated Community Development Programme supports Mahila Mandals, Self-Help Groups, Nursery Schools, and Tailoring Schools, fostering education, skill development, and empowerment within the community.
