Reaching 1,30,898 farmers by FY2023, saving over 12 million trees, enrolling 3.4+ lakh acres and 90,000+ farmers across 3200+ villages, with a water-saving potential exceeding 127 crore litres and a 16% productivity increase, the Foundation has also supported 50,000 farmers via toll-free services and gained a following of 2.3+ lakh on social media.

Programs

  • The Productivity Improvement Programme

    The Productivity Improvement Programme is designed to support farmers in enhancing crop yields, thereby improving income and overall livelihood. Over 100 agronomists from Parachute Kalpavriksha Foundation conduct monthly visits to enrolled farmers, offering expert guidance on scientific farming practices. These technical specialists provide training and address key agricultural challenges, including pest control, nutrition, and water management, helping farmers adopt sustainable and effective methods for better productivity.

  • Agri Business Centre

    The Agri Business Centre (ABC) serves as an agri-clinic offering farm inputs, machinery, and labour services to farmers at affordable rates. Established in partnership with local entrepreneurs, these centres bridge the resource gap by providing equipment for hire and expert guidance to enhance productivity. With four centres currently operating, three in Pollachi and one in Thanjavur, it supports both farmers' livelihoods and rural entrepreneurship, with plans for further expansion.
