KARO's Bone Marrow Transplant Project
KARO's Bone Marrow Transplant Project addresses the critical need for bone marrow transplants (BMT) among patients with chronic infections, diseases, or cancer. Recognizing the high costs and complexities associated with BMT procedures, KARO collaborates with over 25 hospitals across India to support these treatments and ensure stringent post-operative infection control. Since its inception in 2015, the project has facilitated stress-free BMT procedures for over 1,000 patients as of December 2023. KARO continues to advocate for subsidized BMT treatments for underprivileged patients, earning recognition from esteemed organizations like Tata Trust and the Chief Minister Fund.

KARO's Ewing's Sarcoma Project
KARO's Ewing's Sarcoma Project offers comprehensive support to patients battling Ewing's sarcoma, a cancerous tumor affecting bones or soft tissues, predominantly in individuals aged 10 to 20 years. Recognizing the intensive treatment regimen—which includes radiation, chemotherapy, surgery, and prosthetics—KARO provides financial assistance, free accommodation, counseling, and nutritional support to ensure uninterrupted care. In collaboration with Tata Hospital and local NGOs, KARO has established the Patient Sarcoma Group (PSG) to guide patients through their treatment journey. As of December 2023, the project has assisted over 650 patients, contributing valuable data to enhance clinical research and treatment outcomes.
