Accessible Rural Sanitation
DescriptionIn 2018, Svayam launched a three-year Accessible Rural Sanitation project to promote accessible sanitation in rural India. The initiative aims to build 1,500 Accessible Family Toilets (AFTs) across five states: Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha. Svayam serves as the funding and knowledge partner for the project, with Water.org as the implementing partner.

Accessible & inclusive elections
DescriptionSvayam collaborated with the Election Commission of India (ECI) to make the 2019 General Election more inclusive. In response to Svayam's request, several Delhi-based NGOs—recipients of wheelchair-accessible vans donated by Svayam—offered their vehicles to ensure that voters with reduced mobility could reach their polling booths safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
