Svayam actively promotes inclusive education, emphasizing that children with disabilities should study alongside their peers in mainstream schools. This approach fosters understanding and awareness of the specific needs of children with disabilities, enabling all students to grow together and build a more inclusive mindset as they transition into the workforce.

The company is dedicated to advocating for and promoting independent mobility and accessible transportation systems, striving to create a more inclusive society.

The key initiatives include:

*Svayam donated wheelchair-accessible vehicles to individuals, NGOs, and a hospital to improve transportation accessibility.
*Partnered with Access Exchange International (AEI), USA, to develop the World Bank’s Transit Access Training Toolkit, focusing on safe bus driving practices.
*Contributed to drafting the Civil Aviation Requirements for the carriage of persons with disabilities by air.
*Collaborated with DIAL to conduct sensitization sessions for the IGI Airport Community, enabling better support for passengers with reduced mobility.
*Conducted an Access Audit of 10 metro stations to identify and recommend improvements for accessibility.

In 2018, Svayam launched a three-year Accessible Rural Sanitation project to promote accessible sanitation in rural India. The initiative aims to build 1,500 Accessible Family Toilets (AFTs) across five states: Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha. Svayam serves as the funding and knowledge partner for the project, with Water.org as the implementing partner.

Svayam collaborated with the Election Commission of India (ECI) to make the 2019 General Election more inclusive. In response to Svayam's request, several Delhi-based NGOs—recipients of wheelchair-accessible vans donated by Svayam—offered their vehicles to ensure that voters with reduced mobility could reach their polling booths safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
