Through this project, HDFC Securities has provided financial assistance to underprivileged patients who are unable to afford medications or necessary surgical procedures.

Isha Vidhya, a rural school initiative under Isha Education, was established in 2005 to provide high-quality education to underprivileged children in rural areas. HDFC Securities supports this initiative by helping deliver education to children in villages across various districts.

Currently, there are nine rural schools operating in the districts of Coimbatore, Erode, Nagercoil, Tuticorin, Villupuram, Salem, Cuddalore, Dharmapuri, and Chittoor. The Isha Vidhya education system focuses on holistic development, extending beyond academics to include activity-based learning tools and programs.

Through this initiative, underprivileged children receive access to affordable, quality education, supported by scholarships, digital classrooms, laptops, and computers. A total of 400 children benefit from scholarships, while eight digital classrooms, 30 laptops for education coordinators, and 40 computers (five per school) have been provided across the eight Isha Vidhya schools.

YUVA Unstoppable is a dynamic youth movement dedicated to inspiring and mobilizing individuals across India to contribute two hours per week toward nation-building. The organization has engaged young people through impactful initiatives such as ‘Evolution,’ ‘True Hero,’ and ‘Amitabh Unstoppable.’

Supported by HDFC Securities, the project focuses on enhancing access to clean drinking water by installing RO+UV water purification plants in 10 villages across Gujarat, ensuring the provision of 20 liters of clean water per household each day. Additionally, the initiative works towards improving sanitation, water facilities, and infrastructure in government schools.

Swades Foundation is founded by Ronnie and Zarina Screwvala and focuses on empowering rural India. In tandem with HDFC securities, Swades undertook water and sanitation program for 840 households in Raigad, Maharashtra providing 200 litres of potable water every day to each household along with creating sanitation blocks to make villages open defecation free.

The mission of the organization is to empower 1 million rural Indians every 5 years, creating a permanent, irreversible change for good.
