Programs

  • Women Empowerment Programme

    The women empowerment programme includes functional literacy training for marginalised women in rural and urban West Bengal, along with skill-building through beautician courses, English classes, and craft workshops. Infrastructure support, such as sewing machines, has enabled small-scale production. Community engagement through health camps and awareness drives fosters trust, while exhibitions and brand partnerships have provided platforms for product promotion. These efforts have helped women gain confidence, financial independence, and a sense of dignity.

    The educational programme includes free learning opportunities in basic subjects like math and English, along with holistic development through music, art, and sports. Children are provided day care, boarding, nutritious meals, clothing, and exposure to personal hygiene and health practices. Support extends to children with developmental disabilities through the Chotisi Asha initiative.
