Hare Krishna Mandir, a Temple project by Hare Krishna Movement Guwahati was formerly inaugurated on 15th March 2021 though its activities started way Read moreback in 2010 with a modest beginning from a rented bungalow in Uzan Bazar area of Guwahati . It was established to spread the sublime message of Krishna consciousness among the people of Guwahati by spreading the glories of Hare Krishna Maha-mantra, distribution of Srila Prabhupada’s books & free distribution of food (prasadam). Today it stands as a brilliantly shining icon of spirituality, devotion, and culture. Located at the northern bank of the mighty Brahmaputra, it’s a perfect place to experience peace & divinity. Holistic development programs and various spiritual activities are carried out to imbibe spiritual habits among people in general leading towards a better society. And ever since its inception the number of visitors is increasing day by day due to the temple’s natural ambience and spiritual sanctity.

    FOLK is a youth enrichment program of Hare Krishna Mandir, Guwahati where young Students and Professionals are guided by a team of mentors to channelize their energies in proper direction. Youth is the prime time to shape one’s life, however today due to lack of guidance and wrong association current youngsters often succumb to anxiety, frustrations and bad habits. Our FOLK Program is meant to empower these youth by facilitating them to practice the sacred principles of spirituality in their daily lives and help them lead an enthusiastic, blissful and glorious life.
