Programs

  • Livelihood

The key objective of this intervention is to enhance household incomes and foster entrepreneurship by improving access to and diversifying livelihood opportunities in agriculture, horticulture, livestock, fishery, and handloom. CML’s Livelihoods Program, launched in June 2015, is its largest in terms of reach and funding, beginning with a direct implementation project across these core sectors.

  • Education

Launched in July 2015, the education intervention began with a direct implementation program aimed at improving learning levels of students from Classes I to VIII in Tripura, focusing on grade-appropriate competencies in English, Mathematics, and Science, and increasing Madhyamik exam pass rates. The program later expanded to Assam, where it now works to reduce dropout rates, bridge the digital divide, foster digital citizenship, and enhance learning outcomes, critical thinking, and teaching practices in elementary schools.
