During the COVID-19 pandemic, it provided 4,400 food packets to 22,000 people. GCPL's 'Youth ki awaaz' initiative, a water, health, and sanitation program, enlisted 81 young people in 2020. Amid the pandemic, the team supported COVID-19 surveillance and prevention in villages. They worked with local health officials to assist vulnerable families, raise awareness about social distancing, and track COVID-19 cases. The project also trained 300 adolescent girls on menstrual health and hygiene, providing them with sanitary pads. The youth reached out to 1,123 households in four villages.
Additionally, the Godrej Udayachal schools focus on holistic child development, with its high school receiving the International School Award for its global education curriculum and innovative teaching. GCPL also supports Teach For India, a movement involving graduates and professionals teaching in under-resourced schools. In 2020, it impacted 260 schools, benefiting over 32,000 children, and has a strong alumni network serving millions of children.
