Havells India Limited runs a significant Mid-Day Meal Program to combat hunger and malnutrition among school children. The initiative, started in 2005, aims to provide nutritious meals to students in government schools in Rajasthan. With a state-of-the-art kitchen and a team of over 160 staff, Havells ensures that meals are hygienic and nutritious, adhering to government-approved diet charts. The program has grown to serve over 70,000 students across 700+ schools daily. It has led to increased school attendance, enrollment, and reduced dropout rates. The project also promotes the enrollment of girls and reduces discrimination. Havells has received recognition for its efforts, including the Bhamashah Award for Outstanding CSR performance. The company's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility is evident in its efforts to address hunger and malnutrition, aligning with the global Sustainable Development Goal of Zero Hunger.

Havells India Limited is dedicated to improving Water, Health, and Hygiene (WASH) in schools to foster the overall development of children and their families. It began its WASH program in Alwar, alongside its existing mid-day meal initiative. Research showed poor sanitation and hygiene conditions in schools, prompting Havells to build eco-friendly bio-toilets in over 500 schools. These bio-toilets convert waste into biogas and water, aligning with India's Swachh Bharat Mission.

Havells also conducted behavioral change workshops to promote hygiene awareness among students and teachers. Additionally, in collaboration with Project Baala, it addressed menstrual hygiene by providing eco-friendly sanitary napkins and education to adolescent girls. These efforts have improved school attendance, health, and hygiene practices, while also reducing absenteeism and promoting gender equality. Havells' initiatives have earned it the National Award for Eminence in CSR.

Havells India Limited collaborated with Plaksha University in 2021 to advance technological change and innovation. It built the Havells Research Building, which includes advanced labs and offers scholarships to students in need. The initiative aims to foster a diverse and inclusive environment for over 350 students, researchers, and faculty. Additionally, Havells partnered with the Central Square Foundation to implement the Foundation Learning & Numeracy program in Aligarh, benefiting teachers in over 2,100 schools. In FY 2023-24, it also contributed to the construction of Chanakya University's Data Centre and Core IT area, supporting student exploration of IT facilities.

Since 2018, Havells India Limited has planted 2.1 million teak trees in Bhopal's Sagar, Sehore, Vidisha, and Raisen districts. This effort supports environmental conservation and the preservation of flora and fauna. The project boasts an impressive tree survival rate of over 85%, aided by regular monitoring and a steady water supply. According to the Indian Institute of Forest Management, the plantation's CO2 sequestration potential after 60 years will be 4,30,687 tonnes. Conducted in partnership with Madhya Pradesh Van Vikas Nigam Limited (MPRVVN), this initiative brings substantial ecological benefits to the region.

Havells India Limited launched the Maharath Program in January 2024 to support upskilling and create livelihood opportunities for underprivileged youth, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In collaboration with the Electronic Sector Skill Council of India, the program certifies young electricians from marginalized communities, enhancing their skills and career prospects. In its first year, 13,000 electricians were certified. Havells also established Electrical Skill Development Centers in Assam and Delhi, developed a classroom/lab in Rajasthan, and built classrooms in Himachal Pradesh. These initiatives focus on fostering the development of children and youth, promoting education, and improving infrastructure.

Havells India Limited, through its CSR initiative, supports two children with Thalassemia Major, covering their treatment costs. Partnering with SEAIT in Jaipur, it aims to help underprivileged families unable to afford bone marrow transplants. Additionally, in collaboration with the Government of Rajasthan, Havells developed a modern eight-bedded ICU Ward in Alwar, which was inaugurated in December 2021. The ward has received recognition from the local administration and media for its advanced facilities.

Havells India Limited prioritizes heritage conservation as part of its CSR efforts. In 2017, it collaborated with the Aga Khan Foundation to construct a 10,000 sq. m site museum and conserve the 15th century Sabz Burj, enhancing the cultural experience for visitors and improving livelihoods for local craftsmen. This project aligns with the Government of India's CSR guidelines for heritage conservation and employs sustainable practices. The initiative includes the creation of a new city park and socioeconomic programs for the Hazrat Nizamuddin Basti community. Havells' conservation efforts have restored historic features and improved the quality of life for local residents, with a focus on sustainability and traditional crafts. The Sabz Burj conservation, completed in 2021, has been widely recognized and supports the company's commitment to preserving heritage for future generations.

Havells India Limited has consistently supported communities during crises. Its employees and dealers donated Rs. 5 Crores to the Kerala Distress Relief Fund for flood victims. The organisation has also provided assistance during the Tsunami, Bihar floods, and Kargil crisis. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it distributed over 3 lakh packed meals and dry rations to over 7 lakh students in Alwar and across India.
