Many children from low-income communities have career aspirations but lack the financial resources to pursue them. The inability to complete higher education impacts not only the students but also their families who depend on them. To promote financial independence and support these students in accessing higher education across India, enabling them to follow their desired careers, TransUnion CIBIL launched a scholarship program in 2016 in collaboration with its implementation partner. To date, over 6,500 scholarships have been awarded.

Many families in rural and semi-urban areas across India struggle to afford cancer diagnosis and treatment for their children due to financial constraints, resulting in lower survival rates. Project Aarogya aims to provide financial assistance for the treatment of children aged 0 to 18 years, with the following objectives:

* Reducing delays in diagnosis and ensuring timely treatment
* Decreasing treatment abandonment rates in the initial phases
* To date, over 1,050 children with cancer have gained renewed hope for a healthier future through TransUnion CIBIL's support. This has enabled them to access:

* Timely and accurate diagnosis at partner hospitals, leading to prompt treatment
* Psycho-socio-emotional support during treatment from the hospital unit

Under Project Saksham, TransUnion CIBIL introduced a skill development initiative aimed at empowering youth from low-income communities who face challenges in continuing their education or entering the job market due to a lack of skills or opportunities. This initiative supports skill centers that provide training in employable courses within the BFSI sector, with a focus on both industry-specific and soft skills.
