The 'Discovering Hands' project is an innovative public health model focused on preventive healthcare by promoting the productive employment of visually impaired women. These women are trained to utilize their enhanced sense of touch to detect abnormalities in the breasts, playing a crucial role in the early detection of breast cancer.

As part of Bayer’s commitment to strengthening healthcare facilities in rural and underserved areas of India, four oxygen plants have been established. These plants are designed to meet the high demand for medical-grade oxygen in hospitals. With the capacity to generate, supply, and store medical oxygen with 93-95% purity, they will support oxygenated beds, Critical Care Units (CCU), Intensive Care Units (ICU), and operation theaters (OTs).

To foster a love for science, enhance problem-solving skills, and promote innovative thinking among school students, Bayer has adopted 125 Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) across its production sites, manufacturing locations, and offices.
