Water Projects
DescriptionAtlas Copco India undertakes several water-related CSR projects to address water scarcity and improve community well-being. It installs Aqua Towers in schools to provide clean drinking water, benefiting students' health. The Nirguda Watershed Project in Yavatmal and the SPJR Watershed Project in Beed focus on water conservation and management, enhancing agricultural productivity and groundwater levels. A potable water supply pipeline was implemented for Mother Teresa Home, ensuring access to safe water. Additionally, the Jaldoot initiative revitalizes water resources in drought-prone areas, improving irrigation and drinking water availability. These projects collectively aim to promote sustainable water solutions and support rural development.

Skill Development Projects
DescriptionAtlas Copco India focuses on empowering underprivileged individuals through skill development initiatives. Key programs include the Pragati Skill Centre in Aurangabad, which trains women in tailoring and embroidery, and the Health Sector Skilling Program in Miraj/Sangli, which equips individuals with healthcare skills. The Lighthouse initiative supports skilling and livelihood opportunities in urban areas. Additionally, it partners with the Lila Poonawalla Foundation to provide scholarships and corporate readiness training for underprivileged girls pursuing engineering in Pune. These efforts aim to enhance employability, promote economic growth, and reduce poverty.

Medical & Health Related Projects
DescriptionAtlas Copco India undertakes various medical and health-related initiatives to support communities and strengthen healthcare infrastructure. It donated 50 ventilators to the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and 100 oxygen concentrators to the Maharashtra Government's Health Department to aid COVID-19 relief efforts. It also provided PPE kits and immunity-boosting medicines to approximately 6,500 police personnel in Pune. Additionally, it contributed medical instruments, surgical materials, and medicines to a healthcare facility in Miraj. These efforts aim to enhance healthcare access, improve medical preparedness, and support frontline workers and vulnerable communities.
