Additionally, it contributed to the establishment of a specialized eye care center for the elderly in Hyderabad, offering sustainable diagnostic and surgical services. In December 2020, it aided Lions Eye Hospital in setting up a modular operation theater to extend surgical care to underserved populations.

Gland Pharma Ltd undertakes various educational initiatives to support children and underserved communities. It launched a Free Breakfast Scheme in 2019, providing nutritious meals to over 9,100 children in 66 government schools near its facilities in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. Gland Pharma Ltd supports livelihood development by contributing to Swayamkrushi, a Hyderabad-based NGO that aids mentally challenged women through therapeutic services like music, yoga, speech, and physiotherapy. Gland Pharma Ltd supports rural development through its contribution of ₹1.2 crore to a Community Cattle Centre established under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGS) in Siddipet, Telangana. The center serves as a cattle hostel, offering centralized care and medical facilities for milch cattle from nearby villages. It enables dairy farmers to access procurement agencies, improve marketing opportunities, and enhances village sanitation by converting animal waste into manure and vermicompost. The funds were used for infrastructure, including sheds, feeding channels, drainage systems, a training hall, staff quarters, and a milk collection room. Additionally, it provided essential equipment such as a feed-chopper, dung-log making unit, and khova-making machine, alongside solar lights and cleaning tools, fostering improved livelihoods for farmers.

Gland Pharma Ltd contributes to wildlife conservation through its support for zoological parks. It donated ₹20 lakh to Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad for the care of wild birds and animals, a vital gesture during the pandemic when revenue was low. In October 2021, it further provided ₹20 lakh for building and maintaining a kangaroo enclosure at the zoo, reinforcing its commitment to animal welfare.

Gland Pharma Ltd contributed extensively to COVID-19 relief efforts, aiding vulnerable communities and frontline workers. It distributed dry ration bags and cooked food to thousands of affected individuals, including migrant workers and slum dwellers. It provided N-95 masks to healthcare workers, police, students, and the public, while donating ₹1.2 crore to the Governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The company supported the AP Government’s ‘Connect to Andhra’ project by supplying PPE kits, masks, sanitizers, and medical equipment to various districts. It also delivered ventilators and critical medical devices to hospitals in Telangana and Hyderabad, supporting their efforts to combat the pandemic.
