Muskaan was started by parents and professionals to address the lack of services for people with intellectual disabilities (ID). With determination an Read mored a clear goal, the initiative focused on providing education, job training, and employment opportunities, helping individuals lead independent and dignified lives. Over time, it grew into a well-known model for supporting adults with ID, recognised both nationally and internationally for its effective rehabilitation programs. The organisation continues to meet the evolving needs of individuals with ID, offering holistic development, job support, and assisted living for seniors. With a strong focus on empowerment, dignity, and rights, Muskaan believes that intellectual challenges should not limit a person’s ability to grow. Through ongoing support and new ideas, it works to change societal perceptions and help each one reach their full potential.
