Sanshil Foundation is a non-profit organisation that helps disadvantaged communities by providing education, job training, and opportunities for a sta Read moreble income. It started as a project to support construction workers in Gurgaon and has since helped over 1,000 children. One of its main programmes, Bagiya, offers extra learning support to more than 300 children from poor neighbourhoods in Gurgaon and Noida. This helps them join regular schools like DPS Shikshakendra and Shikshantar. The organisation also teaches vocational skills, ensuring people can support themselves in the long run. Another initiative, Swayam, operates under Ecofactory and helps women in Jharsa village by training them in stitching. These women create handmade products that are sold through corporate partnerships. Sanshil also uses a flexible education model to reach children who don’t have access to formal schooling. By focusing on small but steady improvements, the foundation creates lasting change, helping future generations build better lives.
