Deendayal Seva Pratishthan works to uplift the Pardhi community and other marginalised groups by providing education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities. It runs Vivekanand Chhatravas, a hostel that supports students from tribal and distressed farming backgrounds, helping them succeed academically. It also operates Bal Sanskar Kendras to impart value education and organises health camps under Aarogya Rakshak Yojana, offering medical services to those in need. The organisation supports self-employment initiatives, helping youth start small businesses. Additionally, it fosters cultural integration by celebrating national festivals and conducting events that strengthen community ties. Its ongoing efforts have positively impacted thousands of families, promoting dignity and self-reliance.

Deendayal Seva Pratishthan supports families of deceased farmers by providing financial assistance for widows to start sustainable small businesses. Many farmers in Maharashtra’s Vidarbha region have faced severe agricultural distress, leading to suicides. Widows struggle with financial instability, lacking access to government aid due to eligibility barriers. To help, the organisation has assisted 283 families in establishing income-generating activities such as dairy farming, grocery shops, and tailoring. It also promotes education for children of affected families, covering lodging, tuition, and coaching expenses. Urban donors are encouraged to sponsor children's education, and hostel facilities provide additional support. Aid ranges from ₹5,000 to ₹25,000 per child annually, with higher amounts for professional studies. The initiative is funded through donations, aiming to expand its reach each year.

Deendayal Seva Pratishthan provides counselling to small and marginal farming families facing financial distress, helping them explore alternatives to suicide. It engages trained facilitators to support women in affected families, strengthening their ability to discuss problems and seek solutions. By empowering them with skills and financial assistance for supplementary income, it aims to reduce vulnerability and improve stability. Additionally, it observes the Bhaubeej tradition by visiting adopted families and offering symbolic gifts, reinforcing emotional and moral support. These initiatives enhance resilience among farming communities, ensuring affected families receive guidance and assistance.

Deendayal Seva Pratishthan promotes sustainable agriculture through low-cost organic farming, water conservation, and livelihood projects. It works with thousands of farmers to introduce eco-friendly practices, conduct soil testing, and organise training sessions, leading to reduced pesticide costs and increased yields. It supports rainwater harvesting, constructing check-dams and improving reservoirs to ensure sustainable irrigation. Additionally, it provides training and professional guidance to prevent migration from villages and enhance incomes. It has implemented goat farming projects to help farmers build profitable enterprises. To advance research and training, it established an Agriculture Research and Training Centre, offering residential programs, demo plots, and agrarian studies. These efforts aim to improve farmer resilience and reduce agricultural distress.
