The ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth was established in 2008 to consolidate and expand ICICI Bank’s social development efforts. Operating across Read more28 states and 8 Union territories, the foundation focuses on skill development, sustainable livelihoods, financial inclusion, healthcare, and environmental conservation. It implements its initiatives through Rural Self-Employment Training Institutes (RSETIs), ICICI Academy for Skills, and integrated rural development programs. The foundation also plays a crucial role in women's empowerment, ensuring economic independence and participation in decision-making. Additionally, it has contributed to pandemic relief efforts, providing medical equipment and infrastructure support. The foundation’s rural livelihood programs aim to create self-sustaining ecosystems by integrating agriculture and allied activities. It has impacted over 765,000 individuals through skill training and livelihood initiatives, with more than 55% of beneficiaries being women. Its environmental efforts include afforestation, water conservation, and climate-smart agriculture. Through these interventions, the ICICI Foundation continues to drive inclusive growth, enabling communities to thrive while fostering sustainable development.
