Andhra Pradesh
SNEHA's Tribal Development Programme is actively impacting 650 tribal communities. It encompasses two key activities: first, the plantation effort, covering 500 acres for 500 families, and second, the provision of income generation opportunities for 150 landless tribes through the distribution of buffalos, goats, and sheep, and the promotion of country hen rearing. The organisation has also established 50 women's groups and strengthened them through various training initiatives. By mobilizing government resources and facilitating subsidies for schemes like drip irrigation and solar pump sets, SNEHA empowers these communities.
