Back in the year 2022, we started with an Education Drive, where we donated books, pencils and stationery items with the help of local donors to 200+ underpriveledged children, in order to grow their interest in learning.

But with time we identified that only distributing materials were not helping in achieving the goals, where we can ensure an educated society.

So further with the help of our volunteers we started coaching and taking education sessions, to help these children nurture their minds and talents.

Between April and September 2020, when ELTA (Enayetpur Lotus Taekwondo Academy) was still struggling to be recognized as a non-government organization. Our volunteers, understood the severity of the situation and believed in their capabilities through this tough times, coming up with an initiative to support 200+ rural families across 5 villages, distributing 15,000 reusable masks, 250+ grocery packages, 230+ hygiene kits, and 200+ stationery packs. The initiative combined immediate relief with livelihood support (via local mask stitching) and education continuity. Approximately 30 local women earned income through mask-making partnerships.

Impact

We are currently working on a project "Nirbhaya". It is an empowerment initiative aimed at uplifting women and girls through education, self-defense training, and skill development. The project works across underprivileged and rural communities, focusing on creating safety, confidence, and financial independence. We aim to provide participants with quality education, basic self-defense training, life skills and vocational abilities. NIRBHAYA envisions a future where women are not only safe but also self-reliant, respected, and influential in shaping their communities, along with promoting gender equality at the grassroots level. This project addresses both personal security and economic independence. Lotus Taekwondo Academy aims to create a sustainable model for holistic women empowerment. In this project, we aim to train atleast 1000+ girls and women in effective self-defense techniques annually. 60% of trained women to gain income-generating opportunities within six months Build stronger community networks to prevent and respond to abuse. With your support, we can expand “Nirbhaya” to reach more communities, protect more women & girls, and create a future where safety and independence are every woman’s right—not a privilege.
