The Mind Research Foundation is a non-profit organization operating since 2015 in Chandigarh and Bengaluru. The Foundation has launched SchoolBuddy, a high-impact, stigma-free school mental health initiative.
The initiative provides free, evidence-based psychological support, emotional resilience training, substance abuse prevention, and abuse safeguarding to teenagers in schools across India. By deploying qualified mental health professionals trained in our programs and tools directly to campuses for one full day per week per school, SchoolBuddy removes financial and institutional barriers to mental healthcare.
The initiative bridges the critical gap between academic instruction and socio-emotional wellbeing for over 100,000 students who otherwise lack access to qualified psychological guidance.
