It aims to initiate catalytic intervention or ensure partner community need-based socio-economic self-reliance for the deprived and poverty-stricken rural masses. Since its inception, the organization aims to promote the status of women and children with a specific focus on Dalit and deprived people of society, disabled and excluded section in the fields of Health, Nutrition, Education, environment, women empowerment, and child rights. Partnership and active participation of target groups is the key to all of Sugam Jagriti’s activities. The beneficiaries are involved from identification of needs, specifications of problems, and at the planning and execution stage of projects.

To establish a self-reliant and equal society with the values of peace, equity, justice and homogeneity. The mission is to undertake development initiatives to alleviate poverty and empower marginalized communities.

Registered under Society Registration Act in 2001, obtained FCRA registration in 2002, and implemented various programs on education, health, and livelihood over the past two decades.
