DDU - GKY Programme
DDU-GKY operates on a three-tier model. The DDU-GKY National Unit at MoRD manages policymaking and provides technical support. State Missions assist with programme implementation, while Project Implementing Agencies execute skill development and placement projects. It prioritizes social inclusion by serving socially disadvantaged groups, allocating 50% of funds to SCs and STs, 15% to minorities, and 3% to persons with disabilities. Additionally, one-third of beneficiaries are women. DDU-GKY financially supports skill training, with funding ranging from Rs. 25,696 to over Rs. 1 lakh per person based on project duration and residency status. Training programmes span 576 to 2304 hours, covering various sectors and aim for 75% placement.

ESDM Programme
It implements a Scheme for Financial Assistance in Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) skill development. The primary objective is to equip high school graduates not pursuing college education with the essential skills required for gainful employment, ensuring they can provide for their families. Despite abundant opportunities in the rapidly growing Indian economy, a paradox exists: increasing job availability remains unmatched by individuals possessing the right skill sets, leading to rising unemployment and persistent poverty. The ESDM programme targets students from IX/X standard onwards, ITI, Polytechnic, non-engineering undergraduates, and unemployed school dropouts with a minimum qualification of 8th pass, ITI Certificate or Diploma, or non-engineering graduates.

CSR Programmes
As a responsible corporate citizen, the CSR model of "Creating Shared Values" focuses on engaging stakeholders, communities, and society connected to its business operations. Four key CSR programme areas include Child Care and education, Health Care, Skill Development, and Community Development, aimed at improving the lives of the underprivileged. The emphasis is on identifying systemic gaps and effecting sustainable, long-term changes rather than creating parallel systems. SSF actively contributes to society by enhancing education, community welfare, rainwater harvesting, energy-efficient buildings, and social forestry, fostering social, environmental, and economic benefits.

Microfinance - Banking the Unbankable Programme
The operational model involves offering microloans to underserved individuals, primarily women without assets, empowering them to make a positive impact on their families. This process includes identifying and training responsible borrowers who establish small businesses, creating accountable borrower groups, disbursing loans, and conducting regular meetings to collect repayments and provide guidance. Repaid loans and interest then generate capital for subsequent lending cycles or for initiating new individuals into the path of sustainable prosperity, ultimately benefiting the entire community through projects led by these empowered leaders.
-
Forestry & Environment Protection Programme
The project team provides support to partner ministries in formulating and executing a sector strategy for environmental and forest preservation. Collaboration with partners extends to the ongoing enhancement of policy, strategy guidelines, and legal frameworks. Training initiatives are conducted for the staff of public authorities and decentralized institutions, equipping them with the necessary expertise to enhance their work processes and carry out their responsibilities more proficiently. This, in turn, enables them to streamline procedures aimed at the sustainable management of forest resources.
