It has digitized over 50 million pages and is the biggest resource of digital material on Panjab.

Vision & Mission

PDL's mission is to address heritage loss due to environment, ignorance and destruction; save and share invaluable treasures to connect people globally; and provide continual free access to Punjab's cultural heritage.

Milestones & Track Record

PDL has digitized 38 million pages since 2003, including 1.15 million pages in 2021 alone. It has also digitized 8,200 books, 3,990 periodicals, 25,578 newspaper issues, 9,152 photographs, and 248,000 legal documents.
