The private health sector dominates, especially in urban areas, but its drawbacks include cost and variable quality. Recognizing the urgency to enhance rural healthcare, the Foundation emphasizes technology's role, particularly information and communications technology, as a potential solution to bridge gaps in accessibility, quality, and awareness, thus improving healthcare outcomes for rural populations.
