With its distinct non-institutional approach, Butterflies aims to empower working and street children in Delhi across a range of circumstances. The bus terminals, train stations, marketplaces, parks, and other locations where the kids live and work serve as the foundation for the street programme interventions. Butterflies serve about 1,000 children every day through its eight contact places in Delhi (Chandni Chowk, Haathi Park, Kashmiri Gate, INA Market, Sadar Bazar, Jama Masjid, Nizamuddin Dargah, Okhla).

A group of certified educators known as Education Programme Officers oversee the Street Programme of Butterflies and are stationed at the interaction sites in the morning, afternoon, or evening.

Our goal is to offer top-notch instruction, even if it needs to be given outside. We do adhere to the official, national curriculum while using a fun, informal approach. Additionally, we have other NGOs registered with us as members of the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), with which we are accredited. Education about life skills is an essential component of the curriculum. Children are also taught via cultural and sports-related activities.
