    In several areas of Uttar Pradesh, CARD has created over 120 Bhagidari Agribusiness Centres as part of our highly ambitious Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Project. These centers offer farmers high-quality agricultural inputs and agronomic guidance, as well as contract farming, training programs, farmer workshops, seed production programs, and government scheme implementation assistance. The sole non-governmental organization (NGO) in India, the Center for Agriculture and Rural Development, operates a network of over 120 agribusiness centers in Uttar Pradesh under a special model of agrienterpreneurship development.

  • The Rural Agri-Innovation Network (RAIN)

    The Rural Agri-Innovation Network was created in support of CARD's mission to highlight the outstanding advancements made in rural India's agricultural sector. Originally established as a knowledge-sharing platform, RAIN has stuck to its demand-driven agenda and participative approach to operations. The goal of RAIN is to turn agriculture into a dynamic and sustainable industry that will enhance farmers' livelihoods and elevate the farming profession—particularly in India.
